Travel is charged at labor rate.  For Example - if I leave the shop at 10:15AM - and I get to your site at 10:30AM - .25 hours is added to the bill.   In this case the travel charge would be $15.00

If I do not have to make a special trip to get your materials, then it is just me sending you a receipt and you paying me the full amount of your parts purchased.  If I have to make a special trip while on the job, the hourly rate will continue to be charged for the trip. 

Quoted work will be billed at the quoted amount, if there is a misunderstanding on the work that needs performed, or our expecations don't align, this will be discussed and approved during the job.    Extra materials above and beyond the scope of work will need paid, generally the quote will be a labor quote only, with suggestions on materials.  Once materials are approved this amount will be added to the quote.  and the change will be provided via email, and or verbally.  

Most customers prefer the hourly rate.   I charge $60 per hour from the time i start travel to your location until I leave your location.  It makes billing simple, and if a customer doesn't appreciate my work ethic or isnt happy (which I haven't seen yet) then they can request quotes in the future, or not hire me in the future.
